I have been working as an award-winning board certified neurologic physical therapist further specializing in brain injury rehabilitation for over a decade. I've seen a lot as a health care professional, but nothing has compared to what I experienced as a patient: medical trauma. I thought I understood the gaps in the health care system, but now I've experienced the gaps as a neurodivergent person.
I felt angry and hopeless. I needed to take action for myself and others. I set out to use and improve my skills to stand in the gap, so fewer neurodivergent people fall through the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing cracks.
I had been practicing vinyasa yoga myself since 2009, so it naturally flowed to pursue a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification (2023) and Breathwork (2024). I then furthered my understanding of yoga equity by achieving a certificate in Accessible Yoga (2024). I had been using Tai Chi Fundamentals with my rehab clients since 2017, so bringing Tai Chi Fundamentals into the wellbeing sphere fit me as well. I didn't have any formal training in mental or spiritual health, so I obtained a certificate in Mental Health First Aid (2022) and as a Life Coach (2024). I've always loved the idea of laying on of hands as a healing modality, so achieved Usui Reiki Master (2023). I connect best to spirit in nature and thus pursued training as a Spirituality in Nature Group Leader (2024), was ordained as a Minister in the Universal Life Church (2021) and initiated in the Rites of the Munay-Ki (2022). I love good ceremony, so I learned the Art of Leading Circle (2024).
I bring all those skills and experiences to YOU now in the wellbeing offerings outlined here on my site. I understand I am not everyone's cup of tea. But I have learned that a cup a tea with no understanding of what it offers the world is just dirty water. So if my flavors speak to you, let's dance!
Beyond the above I am wife, mother, daughter, niece, granddaughter, future ancestor, friend, hiker, and tea snob who happens to identify as neurodivergent.
To promote wellbeing by growing curiosity and belonging in neurodivergent people consistent with our inherent worth.
To lead the groundswell of neurodivergent people living well in our authentic selves.

I call the unceded lands of Jumanos, Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Nde Konitoaaii Gokiyaa (Lipan Apache) and Numunuu Sookobitu (Comanche) peoples home. They lived here for millennia before I did, caring for and in relationship with this land. I thank them for their love of this land and pray I can learn to love and live in relationship with her half as well as they do. I welcome instruction in this matter.
