Tai Chi Fundamentals® Community Session
SAT NOV 21, 12 - 1 PM CST

Tai Chi Fundamentals® Community Session

Come practice. Come connect. Come as you are.

You’ve learned your form. Now you get to live in it a little.

This community session is an opportunity to return to your tai chi practice, move at your own pace, and practice alongside others.

The session is designed for people who have completed a Tai Chi Fundamentals® series with Bria and received approval for this intermediate practice, as well as people who already have an established tai chi form practice and are looking for a welcoming space to practice in community.

There’s little to no formal instruction during the session. Instead, we’ll create space to settle into your own practice while moving alongside others.

You’re welcome to practice your own established form or join the Yang-style Tai Chi Fundamentals® Form being practiced during the session.

How to Join the Community Session

This is a community practice rather than an instructional beginner class, so we ask participants to complete a short application before attending.

If you’ve completed a Tai Chi Fundamentals® series with Bria:
You can apply after completing your series and receiving approval for the intermediate community session.

If you already have an established tai chi form practice:
You’re also welcome to apply. You don’t need to have learned your form through Sage Brain to participate. We simply want to make sure the session format is a good fit for your current practice.

Applying is Easy

  1. Complete the short application using the contact form below.

  2. Tell us a little about your tai chi experience, including the form or style you currently practice.

  3. Choose the session you’d like to attend.

  4. We’ll review your application and confirm whether this community practice is a good fit for your current experience.

  5. Once approved, you’ll receive registration and payment information.

What Are We Looking For?

There’s no audition, and you don’t need to be an expert.

We’re simply looking for participants who have an established enough tai chi practice to comfortably follow a session with little to no formal instruction.

The goal is to create a space where everyone can practice independently while still feeling connected to the group.

Not sure if your experience counts as an established practice?
Reach out. We’re happy to talk it through with you.

What to Expect

45 minutes of tai chi practice
Move alongside the group with little to no formal instruction. This is a chance to reconnect with a practice you already know—not to perform it perfectly.

15 minutes of community
Stay for conversation, connection, and a chance to share space with other participants.

Your Practice Doesn’t Have to Look Perfect

Your practice may look different from one day to the next.

Some days you might feel energized and steady. Other days, you might move more slowly, modify your movements, pause, or simply observe.

There’s no gold star for pushing through.

Instead, we’ll make room for curiosity:

What works for you today?
